The Italian Medical Women's Association (A.I.D.M.), founded in Salsomaggiore Terme on October 14, 1921, is a non-partisan, non-denominational and non-profit organization. It is part of the Medical Women's International Association (MWIA) and shares its emblem (the figure of Igea) and its motto ("Matris animo curant") The legal headquarters is located at the Organizational Secretariat in Via Val Passiria, 23 - 00141 Rome.
AIDM is part of FISM (Federation of Italian Scientific Medical Societies) and is accredited as a standard provider for CME training, providing the system of quality control of the activities carried out.
The Milan Section is based at the Order of Physicians, Surgeons and Dentists, Via Lanzone 31 - 20123 Milan.
